Welcome all West Virginia Special Olympic athletes, friends, and family! Greater Morgantown is excited to have you here and hope that you enjoy your time while visiting. We know that you’ll be busy at the cheerleading and basketball tournaments for most of the day, but make sure you explore what Morgantown has to offer after the events by trying some of our favorite activities!

Cheap(er) Activities To Do Around Morgantown

Morgantown has plenty of activities to do around town. If you’re looking for a team building activity, visit the Morgantown Escape Room where you and your team can decode messages, find hidden clues, and try to escape the room before time runs out!

Jump on the indoor trampolines at Launchpad Trampoline Park. Play games, jump into a foam sponge pit, and try to shoot a basket while on a trampoline! There are also many playgrounds in Morgantown if you would rather enjoy the outdoors instead.

Explore the Spark! Imagination and Science Center for interactive experiences with dinosaurs, space weather, and more! Exhibits vary based on age. Or visit the WVU Planetarium for an astronomy show where you’ll learn about the planets and constellations, and get the chance to look through a 14 Celestron telescope!
