There’s nothing better than a West Virginia University football game day! Before the Mountaineers get ready to take the field, start digging out your best gold and blue gear, and your flying WV face sticker, because an away game can’t stop you from cheering on your team! Whether you live Downtown or on the Evansdale campus, this helpful guide will make the choice of where to watch the game an easy one. Get ready to eat, drink and cheer on the ‘Eers…and when you hear, “Let’s Go” be ready to yell back, “Mountaineers!”

On Campus

Apothecary Ale House and Cafe: laid back bar with a variety of craft beer and tasty treats

Gibbie’s Pub and Eatery: a full-service restaurant and bar serving American favorites

Gene’s Beer Garden: opened in 1944, Gene’s is the oldest Bar in Morgantown located across the bridge in South Park

Fat Daddy’s Bar and Grill: Known for the liquor pitchers, it’s Morgantown’s Premier Sports Bar and Club with pool tables and arcade games

Iron Horse Tavern: West Virginia craft beer, specialty cocktails, house infusions, and fine pub fare
