Quilt Show

Planning continues for the Jewel of the Alleghenies Quilt Show.

9:00 am – 4:00 pm

• Viewing of quilts
• Viewing of Terra Alta/East Preston first-grade quilt black coloring contest entries
• Sign up for door prizes
• Show and tell (quilters welcome to participate)
• Old-fashioned quilting bee (bring thimbles) by Nancy Hoffman from Sew Together Quilters
• Demonstrations of quilt-making techniques. Many quilters will join in with sharing of their quilting ideas, techniques and patterns. Contact Nancy Hoffman for opportunity to participate at 304-789-6681

11:00 am

• Foundation paper piecing demo by Vicki Graham from the Buckwheat Stitchers

1:00 pm

• 2020 Raffle Quilt demonstration by Joyce Cotter and Beverly Tasker from Sew Together Quilters

2:00 pm

• Trunk Show by Marilyn Carter from Sew Together Quilters, who will be showing a dozen or more quilts and honor the audience with stories.

4:30 pm

• Awards presentations and take-back of quilts.
