Morgantown Christmas Parade and Holiday Tree Lighting- DATE CHANGED

The 2019 Morgantown Christmas Parade, originally scheduled for Monday 12/9/2019, has OFFICIALLY been moved to Thursday, 12/12/2019 starting at 6:30 p.m. on High Street
due to severe weather. The Morgantown Christmas Parade will feature ten (10) Middle and High School Bands from Monongalia and Preston Counties, a cast of characters such as Monti-Bear WVU Medicine Mascot and Olaf, Anna and Elsa from Disney’s Frozen, and the antics of the Shriners “Curmudgeon Cruisers”, dance groups, floats, and much more, including a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Come out and help Santa lead the celebration of the holiday season! Prior to the parade kicking off, at 6 p.m., join the community at the Courthouse Square for a Holiday Tree Lighting, as well as hot chocolate and caroling with Monongalia County 4-H.
