Friends of Deckers Creek is hosting a FREE event at our Outdoor Learning Park located behind the Sabraton Kroger.
Local artists Rachael Kesecker and Sean Donovan of Hippie Hobbies Studios will guide you step-by-step while explaining the water cycle and the science behind building and maintaining a living terrarium!
FODC will have limited supplies, on a first come first serve basis. Please bring any supplies you have and want to use for your terrarium, including recycled containers, plants, and decorations. Get creative! Containers should be glass or plastic so that water is sealed in.
Don’t forget that this is a free event, but we will have donation jars set out for those of you feeling friendly 🙂
There is no registration necessary for this event, just please try to show up on time at 6:00 PM!
The Outdoor Learning Park (OLP) is located directly on the Deckers Creek Rail Trail behind the Kroger in Sabraton. Parking is available at the back of the Kroger parking lot, on the side with the gas pumps. From the parking lot, there is a small trail that leads directly to the Rail Trail. The OLP features two pavilions, gardens, and creek access.
This event is made possible by generous funding from the Your Community Foundation of North Central West Virginia, Inc..
