Looking for something to do while the kids are home from school? It is all about birds on April 19, 2019 at Spark! Imagination and Science Center from 10 am to 1 pm.
Visitors can go on a bird egg hunt, looking for pretend bird eggs in the museum while learning about different types of birds, do a bird craft and and see real birds from the Avian Conservation Center of Appalachia. The ACCA birds will be at the museum from 10 am until noon. The museum is open from 10 am to 1 pm. Admission is $6 per child, $2 per adult for non-members and free for members.
“We are excited to have our third annual Bird Day at Spark! It is a different take on an Easter egg hunt and we are always happy when the Avian Conseration Center of Appalachia brings their birds”, says Julie Bryan, Executive Director of Spark.
Visitors can also explore Spark’s hands-on exhibits. Visitors can dig for pretend dinosaur fossils, build a ball ramp, explore nanoscience, play dress up, use virtual reality goggles to look at outer space and much more.
Spark! Imagination and Science Center is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm and located inside the Mountaineer Mall at 5000 Greenbag Road. Spark is a 501 (c) 3, non-profit organization.
