The Greater Morgantown CVB prides itself on “Meeting Expectations” for meeting planners, tour operators and those planning an event like a reunion. In fact, as the city’s official marketing arm, the Convention & Visitors Bureau has a full-time staff prepared to assist with just about anything you need for your meeting or conference.  The CVB offers free planning assistance - from arranging accommodations and venues to transportation and dining options. The Bureau can send bid requests on your behalf, provide complimentary visitors’ guides, and even suggest unique restaurants and attractions to make your  meeting unforgettable. Our group event services may include:

• Locating the right meeting space, whether its for 10 or 1,000 attendees
• Rates and availability
• Site inspections
• Unique off-site options
• Logistical support
• Transportation and attraction discounts
• Local convention service suppliers

Sports Organizers

Where players win and winners play!  Recently named one of the “Best Sports Cities” in America by The Sporting News, Morgantown is home to the West Virginia University Mountaineers.  The community has a reputation for being supportive, friendly and a great resource for event volunteers.  Morgantown residents and businesses have committed themselves to providing outstanding service and hospitality to groups visiting the area. The Greater Morgantown CVB often partners with groups and organizations to bring new ideas to the area.  Our recent successes include:
