Have you made plans for St. Patrick’s Day 2017? Take a look at the events going on in Greater Morgantown to celebrate and have a good time with friends and family.
Kick off the weekend by visiting The Wine Bar for its annual St. Patrick’s Beer Dinner on Wednesday, March 15th. The four-course menu will feature traditional Irish recipes that are popular throughout Ireland. All courses will be served with handpicked beer pairings. Next, gather your friends and attend Chevy Woods’ show at Mainstage Morgantown on Thursday, March 16th.
Join Mario’s Fishbowl for St. Patrick’s Day Fun that will include a special meal, giveaways, and green beer. Beanery American Grill will make you an honorary leprechaun for its St. Paddy’s Day: Beanery Style event. A prize for the best Irish costume will be given. McClafferty’s Irish Pub will also host St. Patrick’s Day Party with Rock Bass with rotating specials and a leprechaun costume contest.
123 Pleasant Street will have St. Patty’s Day with Fletcher’s Grove & The Manor and Friends, Schmitt’s Saloon will host St. Patrick’s Day Party with Moonlight Drive, and Former Friends of Young Americans will perform at Black Bear Burritos.
More options include TBB at Gene’s Beer Garden, Metro’s St. Patty’s Day Bash at Sabraton Station, and a dinner at Preston County Inn that will feature traditional Irish dishes as well as green beer.
For kid-friendly St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, visit the Wow Factory for Story Painting: The Luckiest St. Patrick’s Day Ever! on either Tuesday, March 14th or Saturday, March 18th. A St. Patrick’s Day option for older kids may be Heroclix: St. Patty’s Day at Four Horsemen Comics and Gaming on Wednesday, March 15th.
If you’re looking for something that the whole family will enjoy, celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Brew Ha Ha for Family Open Mic Night. Christian Help will also host a St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Lakeview Golf Resort & Spa filled with live music, food, and games.
The Tea Shoppe will host St. Patrick’s Day Tea Service all St. Patrick’s Day weekend. This is an event specifically for adults. However, an American Girl Tea Party will occur Saturday, March 18th for children.
Bring the St. Patrick’s Day festivities to a close by participating in the MountainEAR 5K to benefit the WVU Speech and Hearing client fund. The race will occur Saturday, March 18th at Hazel Ruby McQuain Park. Recover afterward at Triple S. Harley-Davidson for a Post St. Patty’s Day Red-Eye Brunch. Finish the day at the WV National Guard Morgantown Readiness Center for the 2nd Annual Shamrock Shindig Elimination Dinner. The grand prize is a $1,000 reward!
