Meet Santa at these Locations this Holiday Season

If you want to take the kids (or your furry friend) to see Santa, Mountaineer Country has meet-and-greet opportunities all season long! Whether it’s at the mall, an event, or a popular spot in town, keep your eyes open and stay on your best behavior because Santa is making his list and checking it twice!

Santa will be at the Morgantown Mall all season long starting Friday, Dec. 1, until Christmas Eve, for kids to meet and take photos with him. It’s a keepsake that will last forever! The visits with Santa will create a fun and memorable experience for children and families.

Say hi to Santa and the Grinch at  Hovatter’s Wildlife Zoo for their yearly Wild Lights at the Zoo. They will be there every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, until Dec. 23, but the light display will continue through Dec. 30. Photos with Santa and Mr. Grinch are free, so don’t miss out on this exciting experience. 

Have breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Alpine Lake Resort. Families can enjoy a delicious breakfast while meeting and greeting Santa Claus himself, kids can also partake in various exciting activities! Remember, reservations are required to secure your spot now at alpinelake.com. 

Visit Triple S Harley Davidson for their “Pictures with Santa” event on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring the whole family – kids, couples, and even your furry friends are welcome to join. You will receive a digital photograph and a 4×6” print with a $5 donation to Toys for Tots. 

Head to the Preston County Inn to see Santa on Saturday, Dec. 9! Have a delicious breakfast of hashbrowns, omelets, buckwheat cakes, and anything else you can think of at 9 a.m. Santa will make his big arrival at 10 a.m. Don’t forget your Christmas list!

Indulge in the festive spirit at ‘Cookies and Cocoa with Santa‘ hosted at The Erickson Alumni Center on Sunday, Dec. 10! Have family fun filled with cookies, hot cocoa, activities for kids, and a complimentary photo op with Santa. Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for children aged 4-12, and free for those under 4. Hurry, as space is limited! Register by Friday, Dec. 9, or until sold out. 

Join Colasante’s for a jolly time and holiday cheer alongside Santa and the Morgantown High School Cheerleaders on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 11 a.m.! Your ticket includes two slices of pizza, bottomless soft drink, a cookie, and a photo with Santa himself. Secure your spot soon as seating is limited for this festive event

The Mason-Dixon Historical Park is holding their annual Evening with Santa! This event will be filled with games, DIY ornaments, cookie decorating, and more, as well as Santa himself, on Saturday, Dec. 16 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. 

Santa doesn’t just like cookies, he loves pizza, too! Join Milano’s Pizza for a pre-Christmas pizza Party with Santa on Tuesday, Dec. 19 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.! Children will receive a “kid-sized” pizza, a chocolate chip cookie, and their choice of drink. Plus, get the perfect photo with Santa!
