PADLZ

Come float with us! Padlz offers Canoe and Kayak rentals departing from above the Bruceton Mills Dam. Padlz offers full equipment rentals, boats, paddles and life jackets. All ages and skill levels are welcome including youth, scouting and 4-H groups. Two hour rentals are $15.00 for a single kayak.  Two person kayaks and canoes are $20.00 and a $5.00 discount is given if a child under 12 is in the boat. This is a flat water, scenic tour that is appropriate for all ages! Fishing supplies and bag lunch offered at Mill Place Hardware& Restaurant. Reservations are recommended but walk-ins are welcome. Reservation times are 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm.

RAIL/TRAIL

Trail MapRailroad lines converted to three recreational trails. Walk or bike the Caperton Trail which runs through Hazel Ruby McQuain Riverfront Park. Take an extended trip along the Mon River Trail north to the Pennsylvania state line, or south to historic Prickett’s Fort. Or try the Decker’s Creek trail starting at Hazel Ruby McQuain Riverfront Park, terminating at Reedsville.

ROWLESBURG PARK

Rowlesburgh Park has pavillions available to schedule both picnics and reunions, with access to a BBQ grill. The area is next to the river which presents a scenic surrounding for family events. There is a functioning playground with plans for expansion and renovation. There are also two baseball fields that have been renewed and hose softball tournaments for men, women, co-eds, and T-ball for the younger children. Any donations for use of the pavillions and park furniture is always appreciated. Concession stand will be open daily from 10:00am-1:00pm; 4:00pm-8:00pm April 30 through September 4.
