MARILLA PARK

Marilla Park, home to the Marilla Recreation Center and Marilla Skate Park, is a 45-acre multipurpose facility that also includes an outdoor pool with two water slides, youth baseball fields, tennis courts and basketball courts. MORGANTOWN ART ASSOCIATION GALLERY

A non-profit Art Association with a gallery displaying local original paintings by regional artists. They also have crafts for sale. Classes for children and adults available. Show changes monthly. Open Wednesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., or by appointment. Located in the Mountaineer Mall.

RAIL/TRAIL

Trail Map Railroad lines converted to three recreational trails. Walk or bike the Caperton Trail which runs through Hazel Ruby McQuain Riverfront Park. Take an extended trip along the Mon River Trail north to the Pennsylvania state line, or south to historic Prickett’s Fort. Or try the Decker’s Creek trail starting at Hazel Ruby McQuain Riverfront Park, terminating at Reedsville.
