Mountaineer Goodwill Ambassador

The MOUNTAINEER GOODWILL AMBASSADOR award will be presented annually by the Greater Morgantown Convention & Visitors Bureau to an individual or group in recognition for providing exceptional act of kindness for someone visiting the Greater Morgantown area.

Criteria for the award include:

The nominee must be resident of Monongalia or Preston Counties.
The nominee provided a random act of hospitality to someone visiting or traveling
through Mon or Preston counties between January 1 to December 31, 2011.
Give specific details about how did this individual or groups’ actions go above and
beyond the basics in helping a stranger.
Why should this individual or group be recognized for their actions?
Why this individual or groups’ action should serve as an example to encourage others
to welcome all visitors to our area no matter if they are just traveling through on our
highways, visiting with a conference, attending a festival or special event, or attending
sporting events?
Why should this individual or group be recognized with the Mountaineer Goodwill
Ambassador award?
