In conjunction with the event the Cabela''s King Kat Tournament Trail held their Kids Fishing Rodeo at Dixon Lake where 83 children battled to see who could capture the most fish. Several hundred fish were caught in the 2 hours of the event with the winner of the event catching 70 fish in 2 hours. Not only did these children have fun, but each child was registered into a drawing for 1 of (6)-six $2,000.00 scholarships to be awarded at this year''s Cabela''s Crappie USA Classic to be held in October at Sheffield, Alabama.
