Hairspray - The Musical

The West Virginia Public Theatre presents “Hairspray” at the new Morgantown Event Center. A big girl with big hair and an even bigger heart wins a spot on the local TV dance program and is transformed from outsider to irrepressible teen celebrity. “Hairspray” will be performed from June 22nd – June 27th.

Cabela’s King Kat Tournament

On June 26th catfish anglers are invited to compete for cash and prizes on the Monongahela River -- and a chance to advance to the Cabela’s King Kat Classic. Hazel Ruby McQuain Amphitheater in Riverfront Park will host the official weigh-in at 3 p.m.

Cabela's King Cat Kids Fishing Rodeo - will be held at Dixon Lake and is free for youth 12 and younger.

Also at the Amphitheater: enjoy live Bluegrass music, the “Wiener Dog Race,” take a picture with the official Oscar Mayer wienermobile, and prize drawings for children 12 and younger!
