Dine Out for BRA Day
One in eight women develop breast cancer, but less than 23% know their breast reconstruction options. BRA Day (Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day) is celebrated the third Wednesday each October to help women (and their doctors) know they have choices. When you Dine Out for BRA Day on October 18, you’ll be helping these West Virginia restaurants raise money for the Breast Reconstruction Awareness (BRA) Fund at the WVU Cancer Institute.
Morgantown Flour & Feed – donating 50% of total sales from 5pm-10pm
Tutto Gelato Cafe – Donating 20% of total sales from 9am-9pm

The BRA Fund supports educational outreach and assists patients seeking breast reconstruction who are undergoing care at the WVU Cancer Institute. Insurance coverage may give access to care, but the financial burden of travel, lodging, meals, medication supplies and more can prevent patients from even considering reconstruction.
