MASON-DIXON FESTIVAL
The 22nd annual Florence Merow Mason-Dixon Festival will take place September 5-7 in Hazel Ruby McQuain Riverfront Park in beautiful Downtown Morgantown, WV. The festival offers free admission and is designed to celebrate Morgantown's local history and culture. It is a time for friends and family to meet and have a good time enjoying concerts, food, and other activities.

THE COMFORT MUSIC FEST
Music festival in Chestnut Ridge Park off Interstate 68 at the Coopers Rock exit, in nearby Bruceton Mills. Line up features Stewed Mulligan, The Halftime String Band, Tanglewood, Rust Kings, and Vince Farsetta. Gates open at 1 pm (rain or shine). Tickets $10 in advance, $12.50 at the gate. Tickets available at Black Bear Burritos on Pleasant Street or contact Lori Mugnano at 304-293-7495. Lawn chairs welcome. Proceeds to benefit the Cancer Center Comfort Fund at WVU.

FALL BOTANY WALK AT WV BOTANIC GARDEN
Fall Botany Walk led by WVU Clinical Associate Professor of Biology, Dr. Donna Ford-Werntz. Donna will tell walkers how to identify fall blooming native and exotic colored plants at the garden by their flower and leaf characteristics. Come enjoy the bright colored flowers and the old growth forest! Attendees should wear hiking footwear, preferably waterproof. Entrance gate will be open to allow parking at the lower parking lot. Walk begins at 9:00 am.
