LaserFest: Celebrating 50 Years of Laser Innovation at Mgtn. Public Library-11 a.m.-noon

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the laser with an educational & fun program targeted for children and adults. See a laser show programmed to music-Yellow Submarine, Billie Jean, and more. Children ages 8 and above will make a hands-on laser craft project. Learn about the laser's impact throughout history and its potential for the future. From DVD players, scanning barcodes at the grocery store, surfing the web to eye surgery, the laser is one of the greatest inventions of the 20th century –one that has revolutionized the way we live.
